Sky issues?

Anyone else got Sky probs tonight? We have the " no satellite signal" mallarkey going on; have tried rebooting but no joy..... I really don't want to have to ring them!

Re: Sky issues?

They will ask you to check all the " jack plugs " in the back of your tv and sky box , you may have dislogged them while dusting around .

Re: Sky issues?

If you look on the handset at the top , look for " services " . Then go to no. 4 system setup . then go to no. 6 lock indicater .. this must be in the lock position and say ok. it also tells you how strong the signal is and the quality .

Re: Sky issues?

Input 1 says no signal strength and not locked, is this a bad thing?

Re: Sky issues?

Mine had no signal strength and was not locked . phoned sky they took me through what they could do over the phone . In the end they sent a guy round , he found that the dish couldn't pick up a signal over the top of a very large tree . he re-wired it to the chimney breast . its been fine ever since .

Re: Sky issues?

When you say that you have re-booted , did you take the card out for 30 seconds or more ?
