Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2008
It said on the B.B.C. radio news today that although profits from the phone vote has in the past gone to charity, this is no longer the case.
Any profits from the programme's phonelines now go into the coffers of the B.B.C.

I think the judges are two faced,,,they pushed John out,and then pretended to be upset,,,the judging stinks when they move the goal posts,Anyway He got a well deserved standing ovation ,,Nice to see Zara Philips in the audience

I think the special slot they did for Children in Need raised money for the charity this year, but not the phonelines from the shows. That's what it said on the news, and I can't find anything that says otherwise.
Rachel's foxtrot was really good tonight, but I wouldn't have given it a 10. I thought Austin and Tom were better than Rachel, but I guess their dances were just more appealing to me than the foxtrot.

I don't know if you listened to John's speech, but he was adamant that he was NOT pushed out.

But even you have to admit GC it was a much better show this week without him, I just thought during yesterdays results show, when they did that tribute to "Saturday Night Fever" just how would he have coped, as he said himself it was a joke to far
