The big Lebowski
Not a lot on the box, so it was a DVD night, "The big Lebowski" (1998) was on the cards, the story, a case of mistaken identity leading to a series of further misunderstandings, adult humour, nudity & typical American unwarranted profanity. Regardless, a good enough way to pass an hour & more. Not everyone's cup of tea but it made me chuckle.

I liked that movie - one of the Cohen Brothers' efforts, if I remember correctly. My fave scene was the one where the ashes are scattered - darkly humorous for sure

That was on all the time on ITV 4 few years back - quite a good film Jeff Bridges is a very cool actor.

There is some terrific (if colorful) dialogue in this movie.

The Big Lebowski (1998) - Quotes - IMDb As for the profanity, The Stranger actually asks The Dude "Do you have to cuss so much?" to which The Dude replies "What the F*** are you talking about?" This is a movie you can watch multiple times and pick up different things each time. "Nice Marmot!" |
