New documentary series following the daily highs and lows in a British household, filmed over a period of four months. The first programme introduces parents Simon and Jane Hughes, and their four children, aged from 14 to 22 years old. Jane's approaching 40th birthday causes tension and teenage daughter Emily's nocturnal habits prove cause for concern
reality show with a pretty chavvy family

Re: The family

Already started a thread a few days ago on this in the TV section.

Chavvy? Jeez if that is what you see as chavvy, mani, you should have seen the original.

They obviously have money, just looking at their property, they live in Canterbury by the way. The parents work.. one of the daughters at least is studious, by the looks of it. No definitely not chavvy.
But also not as entertaining as the original. Don't think I'll bother tuning in again

Re: The family

BBC, 1974, the Wilkins family, that's what this series is supposed to be a new version of. The "Matriarch" only died last month.

The Family's Margaret Wilkins, 'first lady' of reality TV, is dead | Mail Online
