Re: The Half Blood Prince..............................

Tickets were released today so I've got mine already.

We're going to see it at the 3D Imax in Manchester. It's turning into quite a family trip as Grandparents also want to come.

Re: The Half Blood Prince..............................

I thought it was really good - as did Maddie, but then again she could answer Mastermind questions on the books.

The makers made the assumption that everyone had already read the book. Out of the group of 7 who went to see it, 3 of us had read the book and the other 4 hadn't. The three that had read the book loved the film the other 4 weren't so impressed.

Re: The Half Blood Prince..............................

I was also a bit disappointed about the lack of some of the other characters - Neville for instance - I don't think he spoke once.

An example of things that they expect you to know

Lupin is a werewolf
Lav's name is Lavender
Sirius Black is Harry's god father and was killed in the last film

The whole thing about the Half Blood Prince was barely mentioned yet it's the name of the film!!!!!!!

My 8 year old son wasn't raving about this film, he said it was ok but not his favourite.

What a disappointment - I thought that this thread was an expose of a DNA test on Prince Harry
