Was actually the West End, off Blackburn Road.

Though it was called Stanhill Ring Mill.

Well our Fireman Sam (firefighter753) said it was filmed in Stanhill on one thread.

I think they should come back and film another 'un, up Ossy, at the Rhyddings Mill chimney.

Stick a VW Polo directly underneath it with Rindy as driver, setting off from a standing start.

Meanwhile, I'll handle the blaster for the explosives detonation.

There's a thread about the mill where it was filmed.

Ya Fred did drop that chimney, and dinner time would have lasted about 2 hours or 6 pints whichever came first

Stanhill Ring Spinning Mill

The mill had a bit of history in our family.
Both my parents worked there [ nearly 80 years between them].
Three brothers, one sister, three sisters in law.one brother in law, also worked at the mill.
Iwas the only one not to have worked there.
