Who's the best film Tough Guy?
I thought I'd start this poll, personally I think you can't beat Clint Eastwood as the best film or TV tough guy actor.

Think James Cagney took some beating, unlike Van Damme n Schwartz, he could act as well.
Like Eastwood n Statham on yon. Mickey Rourke wasn't bad either.

Kirk Douglas, Spartacus.
Charton Heston, Planet of the Apes. Richard Attenborough, Brighton Rock and The Great Escape, Michael Caine, Get Carter, Mona Lisa. Robert deNiro, almost everything he's done like wise Joe Pesci. Al Pacino, Scarface... I do like Clint though.

There is one I'm trying to remember, but his name keeps escaping me. He started his working life as a circus trapese artist, before moving into films. I had a soft spot for Robert Mitchum.
The roles he played weren't always 'action tough guy' but he had an action filled real life past as a boxer and time spent on a chain gang.
