Cool Yippee! They are back!

Wednesday 10th October 2008 on BBC 2 at 9.00pm and repeated on Friday at 9.00pm on BBC3 and next Sunday on BBC2, the first of 26 episodes of Heroes is back. As in the past, episode 2 follows on BBC3 at 10 o’clock on the Wednesday.

All the regular characters are back plus, according to the Radio Times, some new ones.

So it follows, sort of, if you could have any one of the special powers that the Heroes have, which would it be and why?

Oh! You’re not allowed the power that can absorb and use the other Heroes’ powers. That wouldn’t be fair, would it? That was Sylar, wasn’t it?

I would have the rejuvenating power gifted to the cheerleader, then it would sort out my dicky ticker, well out of sorts kidney, arthritis and blood that clots too easily that is held in check with Warfarin.

Then I could use my gift to help others recover from their ailments. Of course it would cost them. And now everyone thinks I’m a dirty, money grabbing, rat. But the cost would not go to me but to the charity that caters for their particular ailment or any charity of their choice.

Its Peter Petrelli that absorbs powers... Sylar gets it from the brain of the person he killed.......

Wasn’t one of the Petrelli brothers a fly boy and the other a bomb?

Cool Re: Yippee! They are back!

Isn’t Jeeves wonderful?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_(TV_series)#Cast_and_characters reveals that Peter Petrelli can mimic the powers of the others just by being near them. But can he retain the power when away from the other person?

Syler can also acquire the others powers by studying the brain of another hero.

Re: Yippee! They are back!

yeah..Nathan could fly and it was Peter that blew up.... but peter was the one that absorbed.... he absorbed the nuclear mans power and exploding didnt kill him because he absorbed the cheerleaders healing power

i'd like Monicas power to be able to do anything she see's someone else doing

EDIT; yes he can retain them, Claude (the invisible man) taught him how to

Re: Yippee! They are back!

I'm not surprised that nobody has mentioned the series since it started, as it's complete and utter dirge!!
I haven't seen writing as bad as this for a long and the dialogue is truly embarrassing.

Apparently it's a different set of writers on this series (except for one) and you can't half tell.
