Re: Post hack problems...
Indeed, in the basic forum software, what we know as karma is actually called reputation, I just renamed it and tried to make it a bit more fun... reputation?! yawn.. karma? hehehe.... Anyway, eventually it will be back as we know it

Re: Post hack problems...
I am quite new at this and do not understand quite everything but would be grateful for some advice.
I posted a thread in lost family and friends on Friday the 17th came back on today to see if i had any replys but couldnt even find the thread, according to the logged in box it says last time i logged on was on the 13th.
Please advice, do i need to rewrite my thread and post again or will the first one i wrote be found. Sorry if it seems a silly question but like i said i am quite new at this.
Thanks for you help.

I’m afraid that you will have to re-write the thread again. Because of the hack we had on Friday Roy has had to use an accyweb backup which in reality wasn’t really that old but unfortunately we have lost several days worth of newly created threads and posts.

Re: Post hack problems...
One of the members contacted me yesterday, after I'd told her AccyWeb was back, to say that she was still unable to find us and still getting the mesage she got when it was hacked.

Re: Post hack problems...
You can normally force a refresh to ignore cache by holding CTRL F5 (IE) or SHIFT F5 (mozilla based browsers, firefox, netscape, Galeon/Epiphany etc)

Re: Post hack problems...
The e-mail addresses via the lancashireweb server do not appear to be working. Even logging on, directly to the server, there is no mail appearing in the inbox.

Have we lost the Arcade? I can't seem to find it anywhere and need to take out some angst on some penguins!
