Arcade Scoring Problems
Last night I spent ages on Jewel Quest and got a massive score, but when I came to submit it, it didn't work because I had been logged out. If I stay on the same page for a while it logs me out, and i presume this is what happened. It is the second time that it has done it, but this obviously doesn't happen to everyone as I had not beaten the highscore.
Does this happen to anyone else? I'm going to go play it now and see if it happens again.

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
I had the same thing happen after playing one of those slot machines games. I was logged in and all, just said it did not register my score. Spent well over an hour mindlessly clicking the spin button. Thankfully, I was watching the basketball championship games and didn't pay much attention. Just clicked ~every 5 seconds.
Still a bit annoying, plus I could have strain my clicking finger ligament for naught! So much more positive enjoyment with the Arcades then the few bits of annoyances!

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
No mate, my box is always ticked, logs in automatically when I open my browser, cos I always open the same pages, mail, 3 for work and accyweb, when I close the browser I always tick the 'open these pages next time' box, so they always log in automatically, thanks for trying though!

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
Sometimes when I'm playing and it gets to the end the screen just freezes without recording the score and I have to refresh to even play again.

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
Yup, just got this message following a rather steller Popebox game:
This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.
Transmission Timeout (7.3222 sec)
Of course I can say it was steller as only I really know that it wasn't quite my best performance. However, it is the idea that counts. Hmmm, maybe this is how Mick is ruling the high score lists eh?

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
Try using internet explorer if you are currently using firefox. I had problems with firefox not sending my score but internet explorer works fine, usually anyway.

Re: Arcade Scoring Problems
Cheers Neil. I had been playing mostly on Internet Explorer but have some kind of virus in there. In the middle of Arcade play or quiz play, I'd keep getting pornagraphic pop-ups! (I'll let you guys comment on this being a bonus feature of Internet Explorer as my Puritan mindset prevents such creative comment on said matter!) And yes, my only distraction from this was getting either slowed down or knocked-out of whatever task.
