I chuckled when I saw that - perhaps he has a sense of humour after all

A touch of the old irish there made famous by dear old spike Milligan in one of his sketches and also if I remember correctly, Puckoon, Benipete can no doubt confirm that he's read most of his stuff.

Re: Aster1x swear**g.
I would respond to yerself's avatar in the old Gaeilge but I'd probably get banned from AccyWeb for using a foreign language.
As for the offensive invisible image - good grief it's only a bit of fun. Like when my daughter asked me yesterday "What's my hair like?" and I replied "Hairy" Her response was "You fooooooll!"

Re: Aster1x swear**g.
Many moons ago in a maths lesson a fellow pupil was either messing around or gave a completely ridiculous answer, causing our esteemed maths teacher, Thos. Kennedy, to reprove him by saying " All you use your head for laddie is growing hair." My classmate mumbled, under his breath, "Oh, pog mo thoin." Thos. hit the roof at this and shouted "Kiss it, I'll bloody well kick it in a minute."

It took the class by surprise. It was only at the end of the period when the reluctant maths student explained what he'd muttered that we learned the reason for Thos's outburst.

Now if you were a Yank I could understand you not getting it.

Now why should I ‘chill out’ whatever that means? Just because you say so? Getting a bit above yourself aren’t you?
Ah! But then I forgot – again! I’m not supposed to have my own opinions and perchance I do and they differ from certain other people’s opinions, I either don’t have a sense of humour or I should change my view.
I don’t like to be called stupid and I doubt if anyone else does either. But I’m a lot mentally tougher than you could possibly imagine. If I wasn’t I would have left this forum long ago to leave you wallowing in your nasty, spiteful pit of mediocrity.
I do believe that the forum rules state:
Abusing Other Members
Abusing other members of this website is not allowed. Debates are welcome but must not become personal or target another member.
Insulting & Nasty Posts
Posts that are just insulting or nasty are not allowed on this website.
I would dare to suggest that calling all who read the text on an avatar stupid because they cannot see a picture comes under those rules. As does Less’ changed signature. Not forgetting to mention the Gaelic phrases.
Clear English Posts
Any messages posted on this forum must be done so in clear English. Using any other language is not allowed and Text Speak or "txt spk" is not acceptable, or Abbreviations.
That seems clear enough to me.

Er! What’s that in your next but one post? #127.
But you didn’t call her stupid.
Your analogy is as far of the mark as you can get.

Tut! Tut! Swearing.
Or are you going to claim that because you are quoting someone else it is OK?

Re: Aster1x swear**g.
Oh go on Jim enjoy yourself and report the lot of us. Yerself and I continued our Irish discussion in PMs. The post was what is known as "a bit of fun"
No, I didn't call my daughter stupid, she was the one who called me a fool. You have again missed the point. She 'insulted' me yet it was taken in the manner it was intended, good humoured and funny.
