When it says the cost of banking 250 ackers is 250 ackers all that means is that you ackers on hand are only reduced by the number you bank (you don't lose an additional 250 ackers) Some actions cost you extra such as donating ackers to someone else.

I can't actually remember the exact wording because I don't look when I bank.

I have had some interest, not sure how much or how often but I know something has been added to my bank account.

I tested it by leaving exactly 100 ackers in my account. I got the 1 acker interest about 2 weeks later.

It certainly takes a lot more to keep Tux going. I also miss seeing him on my posts, Its like he's been shoved in a penguin house out back.

Yeah....... that is one of the drawbacks of the newish site.......I was a regular petter of other folks pets, because you could see when they needed a bit of attention......much harder now. And Yes........I think it is harder to keep the pets going......although theoretically it shouldn't be.

I didn't get my pet until I had acquired a decent bank balance.......it will take me for ever to buld up that kind of amount again..........And YES I know it isn't real money!

Thanks for trying to help Entwisi, I also tried to steal 4 ackers from somebody to see if it could be done and ended up losing karma too. I am now banking my ackers every day to try to prevent thefts. I have noticed that you get 1% interest on a weekly basis, but 1% of not a lot is barely noticeable. I will replace your karma for you..
