Seeing as the other problem thread turning into a debate on which prison Roy is in I thought I would start another.

After making a post it is showing up in the relevent thread but on the forum list it is not showing me as the last poster. Look in the Oswaldtwistle forum and the Hanging basket thread. It shows Willow as last poster but when you look at the thread I have posted after her. I have noticed this a lot recently.
Maybe it is a plot so people ignore me

I don’t know mate, I’ve noticed this myself they seam to keep getting stuck somewhere along the line. Anyways from the sound of things it looks like all is going to be sorted shortly.

I have just given that thread a kick and your name is now showing.
If in doubt give it a clout.

There's a variant where every time I edit my quiz thread to show the ones answered correctly the question disappears!

However, it comes back again when I refresh.

It makes me wonder if the double posts are caused by people refreshing when they have posted and the screen goes blank. I don't get the double post problem. When the scren goes white I press back, copy my post then go back to the thread and see if it posted. Pressing refresh might post it again even though you can't post twice within a few seconds and, I think Roy put some code in so you can't post the exact same post twice.

The above post did not appear to do anything. It just sat there after I clicked "Post Quick Reply". After a minute I went back to the forum and the post was there but again it did not show my post as the last post. When I went into the thread my post was at the bottom.

What do those of you who get double posts do when the screen goes blank after clicking the post button?
Do you refresh or click back and then post again until it works?

Again I clicked post and all the happened was egg timer and it said done on Firefox's status bar.

I managed to get a tripple post

.

When I clicked "Post Quick Reply" nothing happened, so i clicked again, nothing again so i clicked a few more times and I got 3 posts all the same.

I would have thought the software would have disabled the Post button once it had been clicked.

Me thinks it strange that the problems have only returned with the rearrival of Less.

Perhaps he is the bug?

now I see from your profile where it says Male/Female you have ticked none of the above, sorry, profile quoting is a bad habit I've picked up from somewhere I'll try not to do it again.

The bug was there before I came back I just might have aggravated it a little!

Roy will be back Saturday and he will kiss the whole thing better for you
