Re: Journals.

Blimey, this love affair has more ups and downs than a good night in a house of ill repute.

Re: Journals.

Enjoy your life, which it sounds as if you are. I hope they just served you pop and crisps at the Stanley bar.

The right girl will come along when you least expect it, in the meantime enjoy your friendships, especially with the love that wasn't meant to be.

Re: Journals.

Ah....but that's where you are wrong........it is interesting to glimpse what is going on in someone elses life...and sometimes it gives perspective to the life you are living......even the mundane stuff. It is like, thinking everyone has tidy drawers......and no bogey hole where they store junk....'just in case'....it isn't true......we all have those places, and mundane lives.

It is like Frank Carson used to say 'It's the way I tell 'em'.....I am amazed that anyone ever reads the stuff that I write.....because, in essence, mine is just the same.
I mean, it would be good to hear what the kids were fighting over and how you calmed them down.....whether you lost your temper.....ripped their arms out......beat them with the soggy end. Go on....give it a go!

Re: Journals.

I agree with Marg. It's not the mechanics of your day to day life that make them interesting, mine would have been so dull, but what you think and how you live your life.

I still write one, though I now do it anonymously, warts and all. No one knows me, and no one can get upset with me. It's very therapeutic.
