Re: Just a quickie, what's a sticky ??
Your sorted now and I was going to say;
Look at the General Chat forum and you’ll see that there are four topics that have been made sticky and all are at the top of the list. We can do this in any forum.
Only Admin or Mod's can do this.

Re: Just a quickie, what's a sticky ??
Nah, not yet !! you saying, mods decide which is a good thread to hold at the top of forums to keep people's interests awake like, for the good of the web ? So, my ambition is to post a thread which will become a sticky .. then I know I have made the top ?? Oh hek, you going to the meet Len on Sat.? will have to personally explain to me I suspect.

I’m saying Admin or mod’s can make sticky any important threads, threads that may be of an interest to others (special etc), for examples of this view the forums. I should also add that often they are not usually permanent, just temporary.
Members can also request to have a topic stuck, whether it is or not depends on what’s decided.
When the ackers system was running there was an option whereas you could pay to have your topic stuck but this no longer happens.
p.s.
And let me guess, you knew what I was going to say.

Ok . think I have worked it out now ... therefore, can I please request this becomes a sticky so that future members will be able to spot the understanding behind it .. even though you did delete half the thread .. where G-C, Margaret and I were just distracted into a little pit stop of humour. Mind you, must have thought important as you wouldn't have done this ... in order to keep the question paramount so to speak
