Karma Points

I was impressed with something somebody said and so I decided to give them some karma points but their total does not seem to have changed. When I tried again, thinking it hadn't registered it told me I couldn't give points to the same person again.

Can anybody explain what might have happened?

Re: Karma Points

I didn't think you could give karma points until you had 100 posts, or has it changed??

Re: Karma Points

I'm now wondering how many posts I had when I gave some karma points. I have rambled on a bit but I hadn't been here all that long and had no idea how to do it until talking to someone from here and she told me.

Re: Karma Points

Thank you all, Wingy, Lettie and Willow for your help and advice! As a novice member, I am having a little trouble navigating what seems to be an excellent site. Is there anywhere that explains these "rules" though?

Re: Karma Points

Yes there is Busman. As Roy adds new features he usually posts explanations in the Accrington forum news threads. You will also find some tips in this feedback section. Due to the amount of features on here, these threads can take some reading, but it's worth taking the time. The more you post, the more familiar you will become with the different features... Happy posting

Ellie I think it is when someone with less than 100 post's give you karma.... does not increase your Karma No but show's up for you to see. I think..

that's right simon. The effort to give karma is still recorded but it does not count. I'm sure I was supposed to be posting a full write up on the karma system - ho hum, must get round to it soon!
