There is not a problem at all Mick.
I think JB was just asking if there had been a change that was all. It looks like there has been so the question has been answered. I thought his post was a valid question. I did not see the need for his dig at yourself and Roy later on though.

Thanks for responding.
All I know is that now I am only allowed to award one lot of Karma in 24 hours whereas in the not too distant past it was two lots. I am not the only one either.
That’s why I raised this thread to try and find out if gremlins were at work or the Karma rule had been changed.

Maybe I’ve got this wrong but if an organisation has a rule change then surely it should be publicised to let all members know what the change is?

Re: Karma Rule Change?
Do you think is anything to do with rep. points, as there are many people now with a high score ?
Is it only good karma Jambutty ? .. have never given any bad so wouldn't know.

That thought had crossed my mind but that would penalising the newcomers as well as those with high scores.
It is for all Karma.

You have stated many times, "karma, I ain't Bovvered", why bring it up at all?
If all of us can only give or take once in a day it's still fair, let's just worry about the people that stir things up for no apparent reason they are the enemies of the state called accyweb.
Less sits back and awaits more comments about his family and extra advantages he has!

So you’ve just jumped in without reading what the thread is about?
Par for your course I guess.
If you had bothered to read the thread you would have noticed that I and several people have noticed that we can now only make one Karma award in 24 hours whereas in the not too distant past we could make two such awards.
That implies a rule change but I haven’t been able to find anything publicising this event.
Maybe you can still make two awards in 24 hours. Can you?

Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it.
Ignorance of the forum rules is no excuse for breaching them.
So yes it does matter. Whether it’s about Karma or any other point.
If there has been a change to the rules governing the awarding of Karma (and it appears to be the case) then the members should have been informed.
Can you make two awards in 24 hours?

What a load of tosh! Typical soggy butty, the proof is already with you, "I posted once today, I can no longer post, so, that must be the rule at the moment".
When the rule changes we'll let you know because as already stated in many of your karma threads it is useless and something you don't bother with.
I have many times in the past said I don't like karma and also that once a year the playing field should be levelled so that new members can have a chance of catching up with others, but it ain't going to happen so stop carping and try to post some worthwile threads.

If a rule has been changed how are we supposed to abide by it if we don’t know what the change is?
Or are you just being contrary for the sake of it?

Is that the best that you can do – make infantile personal remarks?
It wouldn’t be so bad if you got the theme right. It is about awarding Karma not making posts.
Neither is it about my personal views on Karma.
But you are absolutely correct. It is a load of tosh. Your post that is.
