Susie you can't help somebody who, never mind the age, is so pigheaded he won't listen to people who know more about that building that has been a lost cause since before he was born. He can work his finger to the bone trying to save this dangerous ruin, but he was on a hiding to nothing before he started, why does he think its in the state its in now, because numerous people have been involved and nobody has never had enough money to put it right, remember I used this building every day while it was still a Conservative Club, and I know the reason it was decided to sell it in the first place, the same reason its a relic of days gone by, the time to make any bid to save this place for posterity went 20 years ago and you can't turn the clock back on this building no matter how hard you try. You have to ask yourself who has around two or three million quid to spar to invest in its refurbishment and when you've finished just what are you going to do with it, its just a white elephant, and the best thing that can happen to it is that the council put a dangerous buildings notice on it and instruct the owner to make it safe or raze it to the ground

Re: Minimum Age limit for membership
I can have enough laughs, discussions and arguments with adults on here without including a precocious, obsessive 13 or 14 year old who doesn't listen anyway.
Do as Neil suggests- leave him to it.

Gi oer moytherin, he's at that age where he knows it all, he'll suddenly realise he knows nowt, as he's falling from the roof of the Con Club, at least it will improve the gene pool.
I had a mate who was a steeple jack who reckoned it was better to fall from a great height, as it allowed a few more Hail Mary's before the thud.

Re: Minimum Age limit for membership
There have been a number of excellent and valued members of Accyweb who joined before 16. why shoudl they lose out because of one or two idiots? The Mods are there to ensure nothing that should not be or breaks site rules is removed. if they persist they get banned...
seems to cover all bases to me

Re: Minimum Age limit for membership
This has always been and always will be a family site which includes children
There are things in place for children although as Neil has said they don't really apply in this country its called a COPPA form any child under a certain age must get his parents to fill this in and send it back to me or to Roy before they can register.
This form was used when the servers where in America but we still use them now.
