no scam

This site stated that there is a house for sale in accrington on ebay and the bidding was about 7600..could be a scam..

Very upset to hear this as this is my house and this is no scam..I am selling a house in rutland street accrington and I want 14.000 ...it needs work.
I have a solicitor and if you want to buy it let me know.

In this world there are many fraudsters ,even more so on the internet...
But i resent being accused of running a scam for selling a house.

Whos asking anyone for anything...... 9 rutland st accrington have a look buy or dont buy...how dare this site accuse me of a scam...I may consult my lawyer.

Re: no scam

No Graham, merely trying to solve a possible problem. Hopefully simply a misunderstanding which can be cleared up.

Re: no scam

You can consult as many lawyers as you like but the phrase used "unless it's a scam" is not libel it is merely a speculation. Nobody has said that this is a scam so therefore there's nothing illegal about the post. Good luck selling your house.

Re: no scam

The original post did say it was up for less than current market value, and I still stand by my original thoughts that bidding for a house you haven't even seen a photo of is a bit naive to say the least.
