been posting quite a lot recently in the gaming threads and noticed that my post count doesnt seem to be increasing so i was wondering if that the posts in the gaming threads dont actually count towards your overall post count ...
 ......anybody clarify this for me ....

they don't on quite a few forums, it's because gc would be a god member in two days if they counted and you'd never see some of the members in the main forums, although I'm not so sure that that would be a bad thing with some of them.

If you post in anything goes and forum games ect these forums do not contribute anything to the site so its not counted in your post count.
its only when you post something worth reading in the main area of the site will it count. |

I never realised before that there's a little square lit up next to the date on all new posts I haven't read. Once I read them it goes.

people can rate your posts. they click on the karma word at the top right or the set of scales.
You have an option of making it positive or negative, and you can write a comment and sign it. Positive gives you an increase prportional to the power of the person who gave it. If spuggie gave you karma your karma would increase by 12 because he's got power 12. If he gave negative your karma would decrease by 6 because it roughly half of the power of the person taking it. You can't give karma yet because you haven't made 100 posts, once you have made 100 posts you'll be on power 1. your power increases by 1 for every 6 months your a member, for every 1000 posts made, and every 50 karma points you get. So if you have 100 karma you'd have power 2 on top of any existing power. I'm on power 6 because... 100 posts gives 1 2000 posts gives 1 100 karma gives 2 membership longer than six months gives 1

ackers are earned on each thread you start, each post you make and I think each thread you read.
You could at one time buy pets but now you can only bet, and as I don't they're there for decoration and to prove how much drivel I've wadded through, while killing my lonely single nights off. I do love accyweb.
