Stanley Section
Having only a small mind that just isn't capable of understanding football in either theory or practice, would it be possible when viewing 'New Posts', to have the Stanley section appear in blue so that the ordinary accywebbers don't get drawn inadvertently onto a subject beyond any form of practical comprehension?

Easy enough to sort that one out, Less...come along with Cashy and me one Saturday afternoon, then you'll understand what all those strange Stanley-related posts are all about.
Enlightenment is there for the taking!

I've been there a few times & yes, during daylight when there were matches on, I just don't see the fascination of queuing up for an undrinkable coffee with an inedible pie, just to throw them in the bin and go back to where you where freezing to be told that whilst you were away, that's when all the excitement went on, on the badly furrowed farmers field.

But if I go to the Oak lea and don't leave, I can drink even more beer and the only time the cold effects my bladder is when I nip out for a quick puff, (yes I know rindy sometimes goes to the matches), I meant a fag, doh! (rindy again), cigarette, then I'm back into the warmth with the whole bar to myself because the rest of you are at the match.
Heaven, you see, without having to go to Church.

Yes, Less, that thought has crossed my mind occasionally ...however, the offer's always open. Perhaps an end-of-season visit when the weather's (hopefully) somewhat warmer?

Pardon me for butting in Wyn, but do you think that Alfred.E.'s presence might be of any value to Less's ( that doesn't sound grammatically correct!) quest for 'Stanley Enlightenment'?.
Having read the posts from this fellow-sufferer, AE feels that he may have found a soulmate at last !, and feels that a conversaton with Less might keep him away from the one-armed Bandit in the Oaklea ! (Which costs yours truly a packet as you know!.
Such a dialogue might not be of much value to Less though. I mean goodness me !, I've been trying to educate AE in Stanley lore for years and have just about arrived at the Dave Mooney/ Dave Hargreaves era !!.
However, I do think that it is so kind of you to offer to take this unbeliever under the tutelage of Cashy and your good self, such an act really does reconfirm one's
faith in the fanbase of our great Team!.
As Alfred.E. reliably informed me just a moment ago :-
'It's by watching that we see things !'.
( It's time for our medicaton now !)
