suggestion/question
I was just viewing who was online and noticed a member was viewing a thread called 'This is Why'..........so being nosey I clicked on it. I found myself in the over 18's section looking at a dodgy pic of a woman.
This does not bother me in the least, but my children are in and out of the room when I am on the PC
I think maybe in the 'Who's online section' it could say (18's Section) in the Location section. So people can be be sure where they are going. Is that possible?

Re: suggestion/question
If your worried about your kids coming in and seeing something in the over 18's section then I suggest you leave the over 18s group so that there is no chance of this happening. You are warned about this prior to gaining access to the group, there are far to many places I would have to edit in the software to warn you before clicking on everything that could contain over 18 content.

Re: suggestion/question
i get what you mean but i clicked on a thread and was automatically taken to the 18 section without warning at all, I just thought it might help if I knew it was in the 18 section to begin with I would have been more careful.
ps thanks for moving my post the feedback forum was hidden I found it now.

Re: suggestion/question
Thats because you now have access to the over 18 section. The over 18 section is just another forum and is treated just like another forum once you have access to it. I can't go putting warnings up everytime you click to view a post in the over 18s section.. you have access to it, you have to be careful. Like I said, if it really worries you then I suggest you remove yourself from the group, that way you wont be able to see that anyone is looking at over 18s content and you wont be able to accidently click on it.

Re: suggestion/question
I joined the over 18 section merely to see what was happening and not to join in... The side effect was that all the subjects are listed in "todays posts" and "new posts" ..subject lines are dodgy and it looks bad if anyone walks in the room.. therefore I ahve left the over 18s section..
I agree.. if you dont want the content or anyone to see the content then you shouldnt be subscribed to it... not rocket science is it.

Yes thats what I meant. I did not mean a warning message for every over 18 post, that does sound like a lot of work.

Re: suggestion/question
Now this is very strange. I haven't been on since about 10 this morning and can't remember seeing that thread at all.(My internet access has actually been off all day as BT are tryingto fix an intermittant fault on the line)
So, Roy, can you check what I'm supposed to have been on today andt what time, just to make sure no-one has hacked my account?
Cheers

Re: suggestion/question
If you notice the time the thread was started it was 10:38 - so it was around ten in the morning when you where last seen...

Re: suggestion/question
Is it possible to check if there was any other access by 'me' during the day?
Cheers

Re: suggestion/question
Yes, I could spend time going through server logs, but I don't really see the point when more than likely it was just you browsing. If your worried, then change your password.

Re: suggestion/question
Can you add another column in the "who's online" page like on the "todays posts" page with the forum name showing after the thread?

Re: suggestion/question
I've changed to be sure.
I'm still perplexed though as I can't remember that thread at all. My connection is rubbish at the mo, BT think there is a dodgy wire somewhere at their end. I have been trying to upload a 1 Meg file to my webspace for 3 days now.
