The 10.30 curse

Most nights I leave my computer switched on to Accyweb and come back to it about 10.30. Nine times out of ten it either doesn't want to play, won't respond and I have to reboot, or it works with the speed of a slug.

It's very frustrating - is it me, the computer, or do others have the same problem

No, never.....but I live in Accy, so probably get a stronger signal than you, haha!!

Never have problems around that time susie, lunch time,but not evening.

It sometimes goes sluggish for me sometime after midnight.

What's the time difference between here in the central time zone, and the west coast?

The Servers Accyweb are on are in America so i dont think that counts steve2qec
Also the Servers do a backup once a day not sure what time but things might slow down a bit while this is happening

I always log of the Internet after every session, it only takes seconds to reconnect and never have any problems what so ever

Probably wise but I don't work in sessions, the computer's usually on and I take a look if I'm nearby.

Yes, I do it like that too.....so if I am logged on it doesn't necessarily mean I am sat here browsing.

Well at the moment I am using my partner's lap top with its dodgy keyboard and that gets turned off at night but I have my own computer at my desk as well and that is often on day and night for weeks.

Well sue........they do have ideas, but usually the wrong ones.....or perhaps I should say....not ones that align nicely with the ones I have.
