Re: Uploading Pictures To The Gallery For Use On Site
How do I put picture in posts as thumbnails instead of large images?
Advanced->Insert Image - only gives me an insert URL option.

Re: Uploading Pictures To The Gallery For Use On Site
Hi There,
Just uploaded a photo, everything went ok, except for the fact that I can't expand it i.e. it is not a Thumbnail. What have I done wrong, or what have I missed?
any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Uploading Pictures To The Gallery For Use On Site
To upload a picture you need to go into the 'advanced' settings for the post.
This can be found under the box into which the text goes...two options...one is 'post a quick reply...the other is 'go advanced'.
When you go into that option you get an option to 'manage attachements. From here you can upload a picture from your computer...or from some other URL.
Choose the picture from whichever source and then click to upload.

I should have said...the 'Manage attachments' is in the box 'attach Files'
Hope this helps.

Hi Margaret,
If you go into the forum "Accy Photo's" - "Woodnook St Mary's", you will see that I managed to upload a photo.
Thanks to your instructions it worked like a dream.
Cheers
Philip
P.S. As soon as I get my holiday photos sorted out, I'll upload one of them to see whether it works again

Hi Margaret,
Got my photos sorted out much easier than anticipated!
The photo below is the beach where we stay on the Island of Zakynthos in Greece.
The title is "My private swimming pool"!

You are very welcome.
I used to have real problems until a forum member(Len) gave me very detailed but simple instructions...so it is time to payback the kindness.

Re: Uploading Pictures To The Gallery For Use On Site
In trouble again!
Having difficulties inserting multiple pictures in a post. I have photos in the gallery, but when I use the “Insert Image” method, it works ok for one photo, but to get a second or third photo, I go back to the gallery, then “copy image location” again, but when I go back to my post, the first picture (with the URL-address) is no longer there!
Basically, I think the problem is flip-flopping between the “Gallery” and the post.
Does somebody have an easy solution?
Cheers

Re: Uploading Pictures To The Gallery For Use On Site
While in the gallery, right click on image, left click on copy image address, go to post you are creating click on then right click then paste. repeat for next images.
It helps to have the gallery open in a separate window to your post for easy transfer.
