& a hello from me!

Afternoon all,

My name is Josh, I have recently moved to Accrington from Bristol.

I am a huge Accrington Stanley fan, and am enjoying the lie ins on a Saturday morning not having to be up so early to go to the match - rather than being on a motorway at 7 in the morning!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine - long may it continue!

A bit late now but it would have been better to go by train. 08.40 from Bristol Parkway and in Accy by 1.15pm. Except when Northern Rail were on strike. The M5 and M6 motorways are a nightmare.

Re: & a hello from me!

It may have been possible to sail from Bristol to Liverpool, where you could get onto the Leeds and Liverpool canal, and arrive near to the Wham at a point half-way along the canal-= walk from there, calling in at least 3 pubs on the way.

What he forgot to mention that to do the 80 odd miles from Liverpool would probably take 4-6 days by canal boat. The M6 would still be faster....
