Smile Arcs 1960s

Hi, I lived around accrigton and clayton as a teenager, and I am wondering if anyone else remembers the old Arcs on Saturday and Sunday nights during the 60s?

Re: Arcs 1960s

Hi ber, I dont remember it as the Empress Dancing Hall. It must be the same place, probably the Arts not Arcs.We used to regularly see Jon Anderson in the Warriors before he became a member of Yes. His brother Tony was also in the Warriors.Does anyone know what happened to him?

Re: Arcs 1960s

Hi, I used to go up Knowmere St on Saturday nights, probably from 1958-1962. Usually the Knowmere St. crowd also went up Morts:down the Vic:
( in Clayton) Funny, we all had good times and (to my knowledge) never used drugs. (or knew about them) much different these days.
