Books

Hi, My name is Darren Woodhead. I have written a couple of books on Accy. The Long Road Back and Garth Dawson's Accrington.

My latest venture is a website dedicated to books on Lancashire.

If you get chance, please have a look!

ps I am always interested in rare books on Accy.

Re: Books

Hello Darren, Welcome to the site. I saw your name earlier and couldn’t remember where I knew it from. I hope you stick around. I have enjoyed the books you’ve written and look forward to more. Would you have anything that would give Gayle a hand with her 60th Anniversary Commemoration Party……sorry, Just thinking out loud.

Re: Books

Nice Site Darren, I’ll be sending for a copy of Northward, I use to have a copy, lent it to someone and never got it back. A fantastic book for those interested in Lancashire’s past in particular those with a connection anywhere between Lancaster and Preston or Visa versa………..

Re: Books

Welcome to the site. Doug's already asked on my behalf but can I ask too - do you have any pictures from around 1945 - 1950 period that I can use for my VE/VJ commemorative party?
