Haunted Hyndburn???
Hello there
I'm Andi, I'm 26 and I only moved to Oswaldtwistle last Summer. I joined this while searching for anything of local history among the threads.
I'd really like to ask whether anyone has any spooky stories? I'd really like to hear of them as I eagerly await the new series of Most Haunted!

Re: Haunted Hyndburn???
Welcome.
Sadly all my scarey stories are from this life.

Hello Andi, welcome to AccyWeb. Have you seen the leaflets in the Town Hall in Accrington about ghost walks?

Re: Haunted Hyndburn???
Julie and I did the ghost walk just after Siobhan was born. It would definately be better in the dark, preferably a misty night as well.
IIRC there were stories about people in warner street, by the Black abbey pub, new era, Nuttall street plus a few others. It only covered Accrington but if you were to chat to Simon Entwistle who runs them you may get more info about ossy and teh surrounding district
