Smile Re: Hello

Hi everyone,
Trying to find my way around the site!!!!
Interested in geneology. Discovered my ancestors lived on Brown Moor Farm, Huncoat, and Bridge Street, Accrington (farmers and shoemakers). They moved to Bury and Buxton (why?)
Used to play at jazz club Sundays at Acrington Stanley long before I knew I was probably treading on "familiar" soil. Savannah Jazz Band. Met a lovely girl (nurse) and "courted" visiting on my scooter from Manchester even in winter.
Have visited area many times from Stockport. M60 motorway great.
Don't know if related to the Bentleys of brewery fame.
Have discovered distant relatives in New Zealand who originate from Stone Hey, Huncoat. The Bentleys must have had a monopoly in that area for some years.
Any photos of Bridge Street, Stone Hey or Brown Moor Farm would be most welcome.
Bye for now
