Bonjour mon ami. Bienvenue. Accyweb is a good place to hang out; and there are enough of us expats around to add a little odd ball "foreign" stuff to the posts. Cheers/salut.

Don't listen to him - he's the lowest of the low - a Blackburn-born lad who has deserted his hometown club to become a Man U fan!

Welcome, and why not come along to a Stanley match to see how you like it? Plenty of Accywebbers on the Clayton End!

Re: Hello - 247 Refugee

Cheers everyone for the warm welcome! I am from Blackburn originally and was living there for the previous 3-4 years before moving here to Preston last summer. I live in one of these old converted mills and my main view is of the PNE ground, however I never think of going down to watch a game.
The season before this one I went to every Rovers home game bar about 2. I have always fancied going to Accy Stanley for the home games for one season - it's a really old club with grass roots football. Also I've a married mate in the Ossy/Church area and he's dieing for an excuse to get out regularly. To be honest i don't know Accy that much and have never seen the ground but I may just mosey on down in the next month or so!

How much is one nowadays?

Cheers again everyone!

£230 and well worth it. Don't know if it'll save you much by the time you start coming along. Might be better paying £13 per match. Believe me, the craic on the Clayton End is great...beats all-seater grounds hands down!
