Hello
My name is Langdales and I've just joined Accyweb. I'm researching my family tree and would love to hear from any descendants of William Henry Eccles and Elizabeth Ramsbottom. My grandfather, Thomas, was one of their children. Thank you in advance.

I give this advice to all who are researching their family: Join the Lancashire Family HistorySociety, even if for one year only. This gets your name and your intersts in the magazine which goes out to 2,000 members and the society will record your interests. Ally yourself to the Hyndburn branch so that you can get matched with others looking at your names. Having joined the society, join their yahoo forum. If you pose a question on it, the answers start coming in within an hour.
Lastly - start a thread on these names in our Fri8ends/Family part of this forum. Welcome. |

Ciao! Welcome to Accyweb. Are you living in the Langdales area of the lakes or just a fan?
My Grandmother was called Ellen Ramsbottom, she was from Padiham -as far as I know she only had one sister, Elsie but will ask my mum if there were any Elizabeths in the family
