Hello
I've just found this web site and following protocol would like to introduce myself.
I am a Darlington fan through and through but have always had a hell of a soft spot for Stanley. My first match would have been in the 80's when I went to a cup replay at Ewood Park against Crewe, followed by league games at the likes of Stalybridge (I'll always remember the Stanley fan getting arrested for throwing a dustbin onto the pitch), Emley (Old Ground) as well as numerous home games. I usually go with my son and although we only made it to the Crown Ground (I prefer that name) once last season - v Crewe, it is usually two or three home games a season. We're very confused by the continual exodus of players from the club, but like Darlo it is probably all about survival. Come on Stanley. |
