Post Re: Hello Accringtonians

When I start getting home sick, all it takes is a short visit and I'm glad when i'm back on the train to Accy. Sink in the chair, with a brew and sigh. " Home Sweet Home."

London is noisey and busy all the time, brings back recall of Accrington on a rainy Sunday afternoon, tumbleweed blowing down Broadway and a few scared towns folk scurring in and out of doorways. Don't know if I could ever live in Accy again? :-/

Post Re: Hello Accringtonians

How does anyone that has ever lived anywhere else end up in Accy????  And I know loads of people that have moved away to London etc - and always come back to Accy for a quick top up!

I call it - but I love it really.  Would be really scared to move away to somewhere I didn't know anyone.
