Hello everyone
My name is Hugo Heriz-Smith. I live in Camden, Maine (USA), though I was born in London. I've joined the forum to help with some research I'm doing regarding a collection of paintings I've been given by my grandmother, who was born at Heaning, close to the Peel residence at Knowlmere. I'll post a more detailed request in the appropriate section. I've only been through this part of the country briefly, on a journey up to Scotland from Devon back in 1987. Recently though, as part of this research I've been looking at the area quite a bit in Google Earth - it looks like a lovely part of the county.
