Smile Re: hello to all

oh thank you all for the warm welcome to your site! it's so nice!

i'm in a small small tiny teeny town called Ferrum LancYorkYank...not much here except livestock(mainly mine) and mountain critters(bear, deer, wild turkey, etc ) i'm right off the blue ridge parkway, if you saw that LYY?

i take LOTS of pictures so maybe, if i figure out how, i can post a few.

Re: hello to all

I love those small towns out there i.e. Roanoke, Blacksburg. Daniel Boone territory eh?

More and more of the wild animals over here speak spanish and have migrated from south of the border. They've been attracked by the spoils of our society. You can find them in large herds each morning, gathering in parking lots. Pity the man with a pick-up truck. They'll swarm and beg for $10 an hour as they pile into the back. Ashame that I was just going to pick up some chicken feed!

Okay not being hateful but be glad you don't have the problem over there yet. Although my sister says alot of cubans have been shipped in to work in the valley's poultry businesses!

Again, enjoy the site!

Brian

Re: hello to all

aww Brian (LYY) here the local born and bred people don't even make $10.00 an hour! all the furniture companies have moved to mexico and left vacant buildings behind. the cost of living here is very cheap BUT so is the pay. living on a mountain has it's "ups and downs"! lol oh i crack myself up sometimes! oh or maybe it's the glayva that's doing it.
