just saying hello!
Hi, I'm a newbie. I came across the site by accident looking for info about Oak Street Congregationalist church.
my other half is Accy born and bred, and I am researching his family - hence my post under "old accy".
I spent Wednesday trawling through the streets looking for old addresses belonging to my husband's family, found a few, but was sad to find a number of places demolished - unsurprising I guess, given the age of some of the buildings, but when half a street is still there, it is sods law that the house I want to see has been replaced by flats!
I've done quite a lot on the Marsden family, but am always looking for more, and am trying to get my family info together to be a bit more organised.
ok. Long post for a newbie, so I'll go now.

Nice username, is this allowed Mick?
Welcome to accyweb anyway, just for the record this person has nothing to do with me as they seem quite sensible, for now !!!
