Hi all
I am xpat from accy have been living in cardiff for the past 34 yrs used to go to Peel Park grond all the time to watch stanley,great to see them back in the league, I have ?'s 1 Where is the present ground situated 2 How did the name Stanley attach itself to become Accrinton Stanley Take care all xaccy |

 welcome to accywebThe ground is situated behind The Crown pub on Whalley Road. In between the Greyhound pub and the Grey Horse and Oaklea/Marlborough Club The Stanley name ..... I don't know  but Ishould!!

 Team was originally named Stanley Villa till they changed it to Accrington Stanley late 1800's/turn of 1900's |

hello.. the origanal ground was at the top of peel park lane .. as i remember.. went there in the 60's 3 pence to get in... plenty of members her that will know more than I.. welcome
