Hi all
My name is Donald Haley and I lived in Ossie from 1939 until 1968. I went to New Lane School and then the Accrington Tech in Union Road.

Re: New member
Welcome Donald. I am trying to find an Ossie lad 2 yrs younger than you - John Baron Walmsley who lived in Fielding Lane and went to the Grammar School. I ask everyone from Ossie about him. I have forgotten which junior school he went to but think he attended St Paul's church

Re: New member
Hi Bob
Sorry I don't know him. I lived in Stanley Street but I will ask my brother if he knew him from the Grammar School.

I've found him . I wrote an article on Accrington Grammar School Old Boys in the recent 'Acorn' magazine. A lady in Ossie read it and contacted my old pal who now lives in Portugal He has emailed me and we plan to meet up in Lisbon in May.
