Thanks for your welcome! A photo would be brilliant - I am trying to get this done for my Mum who will be 82 next year and she would love to know her history so photos would be great.

Presume you have done all the usual sites Sue .. like the free one on Ancestry for 1881 census which shows 2 Grimshaw Duckworths and one Henry Bentley, as a 15 year old then, living in Church.

Are you just after information from any of our locals ?

As mentioned on other threads, the library here is the best place to start as more information available F.O.C., however, would have to come and visit us ..
