Yes, it was Beechy and opened on the 26th July, 1890. They previously had premises on Barnes Street and on the day of opening a musical procession proceeded from the old to the new club.

Got this from the book Memories of Clayton-le-Moors and Altham by Andrea Davies.. you ought to look out for it, sure you would enjoy £ 6.99. .
