Dixons is where New Look is and Currys (i think) is where Bodycare is.

Was it where the cobblers is now? or maybe there's still an empty unit next to the cobblers?

There was also a hairdressers in that area on that side (where I got my first salon grade hairdryer from at 18 in 1990)
