And yes, I would criticise any other Councillor, regardless of party, if their posts were as badly written as all his. This poor grasp of grammar, punctuation etc, also extends to his emails replies too.
1. Politics shouldn't have a capital letter.

2. People's should be peoples', being plural.

3. Councillor shouldn't be capitalised, seeing as it refers to councillors in general.

4. You should never start a sentence, or a paragraph with 'and'.

5. Etc. should really have a full stop after it, being an abbreviation.

Other than that, spot on.

Next time we have a vacancy for an anally retentive nelly, we will consider your application.

Well, Nelly, some people were born to lead, and it looks like you married one.

When you've finished his paper work, he needs his sword polished.

By the way.

If I've made mistakes, don't waste your time pointing them out.

I care not.

For it doesn't really matter.

Funny how you never mentioned that in your original post about Councillor Whittaker. And, as around 90% of your posts are pro-Labour party propaganda, I'd say politics had everything to do with your criticisms. Still, keep on digging, Simon...

Seeing as this is supposed to be an advice thread imparting words of wisdom how about this particular little Gem ?

Sadly not one that some take heed of, even I am not impartial to this folly on occasion. So let's lighten up on the issue of spelling shall we or it'll only come back quietly, with it's mates, in the dark, when least expected & give us a slap round the back of the head to remind us that we too are not perfect.

I agree with that sentiment......we are not in an English grammar class, as long as we get across the point we are trying to make.

I'm sure that I am not the only one who, in the heat of the moment, whilst trying to make a point, my english lessons(which were a darn long time ago) fly right out of my head........and rules(well some of them) are meant to be broken.

Never do anything you wouldn't eat.

And in Canada: for six months of the year, if you are outside, don't lick metal.

Don't pet bear cubs if mom is around. (Theirs, not yours.)

Never drink lite beer.

Don't criticize folks' grammar and spelling, like in "Hey Ken, that should be "carpe diem"
