An Ideas?
Right folks could do with a bit of help, so hope some of you have better imaginations than me. We like to leave cards for Ian on his grave but obviously they blow away. Want to make something to hold then in(like the cards you get on flowers). Anybody know how I can make some please?

Re: An Ideas?
I can't imagine how your feeling at the moment Bernie, just remember were all here for you.
Why not put the card into the punched pocket and selotape it to something that will stop it blowing away ie a small xmas wreath?
I have a medium sized wreath that is undecorated and only has a bow on it that your welcome to if you would like it-you could put a few things on it yourself then if you wanted or even just put the card on itx

Re: An Ideas?
You could laminate them, if someone has a laminating wotsit.
If it was me I'd use old plastic covers, that you used to be able to buy for L.P.'s, which you could cut to size, and ask a florist for some of their card holders, that could secure them into the ground. (Wilkinson's probably sell plastic sleeves with the office/school supplies, if you've no spare album covers.)
We bought our wreaths today. It's a lovely time of year, but one tinged with sadness for those we love who are no longer with us.
If there's room on your card you can tell Ian that his old sparring mucker still misses our late night musings. x

Bernie.....This is not Royboy being as smart arse.
Find a heavy duty metal photo frame.
Place a picture of Ian in the photo frame with a level back and secure with silicone.

Re: An Ideas?
Garinda the card is laminated but don't think the ones from the florists will be strong enough. It is very open round where Ian is and the wind is terrible. Yep will write a message from you on the card
Royboy that is a good idea will look at frames tomorrow. Thanks

Re: An Ideas?
If you can get two wire card holders then you could bend them down at right angles and fit the card in between them ... that way the wind wouldnt blow it away because it would be flat on the ground.

Re: An Ideas?
you know the things you use to hang shoes in and hang up: you could maybe cut one down to size say to hold a few cards and put sand in a few of the other pouches.... or wire coat hangers...:
