Anyone know anything about CSCS cards?
I need some help. Hubby has worked for most of his life as a groundworker but has been out of it for a few years doing general building instead. He had a cscs card in the past but has lost it, it's expired anyway.
He wants to get a new one to apply for some jobs but isn't very good on the computer so I've been looking for info instead. The cards are all different colours and I don't know which one he needs for groundworks. Is it just the health and safety one? Anyone know before I drive myself nuts and carry on waffling?   My son says the test can be taken at Accrington Resource centre, well he thinks that's what it's called (must take after me ) |

If he has an old card that has expired he would need the new CSCS smartcard.. I think it may cost around £70 ..if he is unemployed it costs nothing.call these people.
renew my card The easiest way is to call SkillsDirect on 0844 248 5262. They will advise you on what you need to do and manage the whole process for you at no extra cost. Last edited by Mancie; 26-05-2010 at 23:54. |
