Looking for my uncle Toms obituary, in the Observer circa 1980s, Thomas Gilmartin, whalley Rd, Clayton-le-Moors. Where do I start, as I would like to get the others in the family, so I can get a print out.

Accrington library has copies of old Observers on microfilm and you can print out the pages you need. You might need to get a more acurate date as you could end up trawling through months of papers and get easily distracted!!

I think Alan would have a bit of difficulty going there in person as he lives in Tasmania!
