bacigalupo,?

bacigalupo... i can only remember this name, but dont know where from was he a barber? and my spelling is also a guess, i bet some one remembers the name,

the only reason i can recall that name was that someone working at Hyndburn sportsy was called that in the 80s

Was a barbers of that name, can't remember where in accy, as i never used it.

Yes Pete Baci' did work at the Sports Centre a while ago..not sure if he is still there?

There was a lad by that name at the Grammar School in the 1940s.I remember him in my class.about 1944.

There has been at least one thread on here about this family. Use Sewartch on the top line ,type in Bacigalupo or barber ,then posts.

In the 1950s I worked with a Eric Bacigalopo at Lang Bridge in Exchange street, he was a skilled centre lathe turner I was an apprentice, he had a slight stutter a very nice person.

192.com lists a Peter Bacigalupo as living in Oswaldtwistle several years ago. The Pete I knew from the Sports Centre would be in his 60's now. Palled about with John McIntyre who also worked there.

just looked on the map ,,warner street near the bottom, showing kays hairdressers, at present, unless i have been dreaming i remember vaguely bacigalupo cutting hair in this area,must have been a long time ago, 40-50 years ago, but not oversure.
