Yep.... The Clacky Diner also gets my vote. fish, chips, mushy peas and gravy to eat in the little room at the back, with a steaming mug of coffee.. Lovely.

There's a good one in Chorley. I don't know the name of the street but I know how to get there.

Moorend chippy in Ossy is good and the one opposite the co-op has changed hands again but it's still quite good.

I love Moorend Chippy. Not all that keen on the one across from Co-op. My little bro has just started working at Moorend, so might be able to blag some free tucker from him!! lol. I also like Church Street chippy. It was good when pubs used to shut at 10.30pm on a Sunday and the chippy was open till 11pm, it was far better than a kebab or pizza.

trinity street chippy in ossy used to really good, but someone else has took over and i have to say it has gone rubbish, the pies are rock hard like they have cooked them the day before and the chips are warm ups, dont think the person who has it now will last long!
