Could try a layer of mustard underneath, plus cayenne pepper and, of course, the Worcester too. That'll liven it up .. Can be all mixed in with some butter too. That may liven it up a bit.

The only cheese that works for me, toasted, is mature Canadian Cheddar - the sort that's strong enough to bite back. I love it with baked beans for lunch.
I love Stilton but I can't have it toasted - it looks like snot when you do.
