Re: council tax bill?
Posh People !!!! who are they and why should they pay more, "not posh people" have access to the same services, eg police, schools, fire, parks etc. why should you have to pay more because you like in a bigger house?
it just means you have saved and worked hard to buy the property

A popular theory holds that it is derived from the initials of “Port Out, Starboard Home,” the cooler, and thus more expensive, side of ships traveling between England and India in the mid-19th century. The acronym POSH was supposedly stamped on the tickets of first-class passengers traveling on that side of ships owned by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. No known evidence supports this theory, however.

That did cross my mind too Panther .. sure loads of them. They are not supposed to cross check between the electoral roll and council tax, but could be interesting. Having said that just crossed my son off the form for electoral, even though has lived in Man. for 6 years .. think he couldn't be **sed to fill in over there, although always paid his due for the Council tax in Manchester.
And Chav .. holding your money back and not pay yer blooming bill is just making it harder for the rest of us, don't you feel any guilt? (why did I ask that question ?)

ever stop to think some people get left in the crap by ex partners or that some people simply cant afford it
ps:
i do pay my bloody council tax and extra each week for what the bitch left me in debt with
the bigest mistake i ever made was been honest and informing the coucil she lived with me because if i hadnt i would have got my council tax paid for or at least some if not most of it
