Do we Have a Newbie In Distress?

I was having a nosey around & discovered the following Newbie seems to be talking to him/herself.

http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/m...ffice-hbc.html

Is this because he/she has only ever made 2 posts both were over a year ago and perhaps he/she doesn't know how to reply in actual posts or perhaps hasn't got the knowledge how to start a New Thread of their own.

I hope we can get together and assist in putting TheLeadersOffice HBC, on the right path as he/she may have some interesting tales to tell.

Firstly can I just say that where you put your two posts dated 29-06-2010 in the 'visitors Messages' section of your own profile, this is for those of us nosey enough to have a look at you to leave messages of good will etc. to you.

If you can read this, please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to assist you in getting your posts out there on site, so that the whole community of accyweb can see what you have to say, or indeed ask the mods/admins, they are always willing to help. Also a question here in this section would get you assistance from almost all the members.

We were all newbies at one point so no need to be shy about any ignorance of how to communicate with the rest of us you may have, don't forget if you would rather do it a little less publicly you can always take advantage of the P.M. system and ask a friend.
If you don't know how to send a P.M. just say so in this thread and I'll write you up a little 'how to', or if you perhaps think it's because you don't know anyone well enough to call them a friend on-site, Do remember the mods.

Whatever you do don't just sit there thinking that your lack of knowledge should hinder you in any way, take a leap into the pond you may find us to your liking.

After doing a quick search, I've found you haven't yet posted in the 'Introduce Yourself', section, this would be a good place to go to break the ice, just tell us a little about yourself, your hopes ambitions, anything you feel relevant, it's surprising how you will soon be welcomed by the regulars.

Again, if you feel the above is a little beyond your capabilities at the moment, just ask, there is always someone on accyweb willing to help.

Good luck and I'm sure many will join me in wishing you well as you learn to post and enjoy the tittle tattle that goes on on site,

Cheers from a potential accywebber friend,
Less.

P.S. if any other newbies are struggling with aspects of accyweb, the same does apply for you, all you have to do is ask!

Possibly it was worn as a cry for help, especially when rehousing so many residents of Hyndburn in Far Corfe.

Those pockets look well and truly lined, don't they?

Is there a castle there, like there is at Corfe in Dorset?

Does such a place really exist, or is it just a faux Corfe?

It's something of an inexact science at the moment as Far Corfe is a new town, comprised of all the wards in Hyndburn seceded from the borough of Oswaldtwistle. Current policy doesn't show it on any maps although it will be by the middle of May 2011 in the new financial year.

I wonder who'll go t' Far Corfe, and become their councillors?

The Far Corfe elections will probably be around the same time in May. I've seen some of the projected budget figures and it doesn't look good for anyone in that new town, I'm afraid.

There'll be the naysayers who will turn to the councillors and say 'faux Corfe' when they're told that Labour has created the new false town but I'm hoping that we can stop the project before it gets to that stage.

It's not too late to save Hyndburn but we need to get the message out soon.

Looks like all roads lead to Far Corfe.
